Production Expert Checks Out Chameleon Surround

As many of you may have heard, we recently released Chameleon Surround, an exciting update to our reverb-matching plugin that goes beyond traditional stereo to embrace a range of surround formats including quadraphonic, 5.1, 7.1, 7.1.4 and 9.1.6. We’ve been delighted by the feedback so far and to hear it’s already being used in post production studios around the world.
This week, the renowned audio production site Production Expert, featured a comprehensive article written by their post-production specialist, Paul Maunder. In it, Paul explores Chameleon Surround’s standout features, including the Spectrogram, the new preset browser, and its intuitive surround controls.
To demonstrate the plugin’s capabilities, Paul also created a video showing the plugin in action from a mono recording he made in a corridor. He also browses through and plays some of the 80 presets, shares an explanation of the Spread control which allows you to determine how the reverb tracks the position of the sound, as well as several other controls.
In his final verdict, Paul says…
